Welcome to my homepage! I am Wookyeong Song, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Brown Data Science Institute and Department of Biostatistics, Brown University, working with Professor Larry Han. I received my PhD in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Davis, where I was fortunate to be advised by Professor Hans-Georg Müller. Before that, I earned my B.S. in Mathematical science and Statistics from Seoul National University.

I am broadly interested in statistics and data science for modern datasets with complex intrinsic structure. My current research focuses on developing geometry-aware statistical methods for random objects that take values in general metric spaces, and on applying these methods to real-world problems, particularly in biomedical and neuroscience domains.
